After spending almost a decade in the digital advertising world down in NYC, Bekah made the move to Syracuse to be closer to family. Originally from Croghan, NY up in the North Country, Bekah has always loved the feeling of having a community around her. This is what David’s Refuge feels like to her: a community of strength and compassion.
Bekah is passionate about live music, whether it’s a small local gig or a big concert. She loves diving into Oscar-winning films, traveling, going on long runs, and exploring nature with her two pups, Sheila and Cooper, and her husband Jake. And when she really needs to unwind, there’s nothing like getting lost in a good book!

Dedicating my time and efforts to an organization that will directly be supporting my community was a no brainer. As soon as I learned about David's Refuge and its mission, I just knew this is where I needed to be.
Right now my current dream is a UK trip with my husband Jake. I loved visiting England & Wales back in college, but Jake and I haven't visited together. We want to explore Scotland and spend time in London.
Truthfully I love a WIDE range of music, mostly indie music. But without a doubt: Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and The Smiths.
My family and friends. I'm incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by people who never fail to inspire me, support me, motivate me, and teach me.
