How long have you been connected with David’s Refuge?
Since about 2020

Please explain any diagnosis your child has, and you have experience with.
I have 2 children on the Autism Spectrum. My daughter is verbal and is also Dyslexic, my son is nonspeaking with sensory issues.

What is your favorite part of being a host?
Love meeting people that get it. I love hearing the stories and always learn something new. I also love to pass along any information so we can help one another.

What is something you want your guests to know about you?
I am kinda loud and more outspoken than my husband. We like to joke around so you can laugh with us. Actually we don’t mind if you laugh at us.

What is a piece of advice you have found invaluable as a family with experience in special needs or a medically fragile diagnosis?
Ask tons of questions, no question is a stupid one. If something doesn’t sit right in your gut, get a second opinion.

Which partner location is your favorite and why?
Marriott Downtown Syracuse. I am familiar with alot of the staff that went to school with my children

Flowers in the attic. 1974 Made me realize that family members can hurt one another

He is loud, you should try medication.
